Our mission at Life Coaching 4 Kids Center is to provide a safe and supportive environment for divorce/separated and blended families to work through their challenges and grow stronger together. Our team of experienced counselors are passionate about helping families build stronger relationships, improve communication, and find effective solutions to their problems. We offer a range of counseling services, including individual counseling, family therapy, and couples counseling, and we work with families of all shapes and sizes.
Our goal is to provide each family with the tools and resources they need to thrive, both now and in the future.
There are a variety of reasons why parents hire a Life Coach to work with their children.
Some of the most common reasons are:
● When they see their kids struggling with low self esteem—getting down on themselves, beating themselves up, or thinking that no one likes them.
● When they want to help their child be more successful in school or extracurricular activities.
● When their child is going through a big change, such as a move, a new school, or divorcing parents.
● When they see their kids struggling with confidence, shyness, or anxiety— shying away from new things or new experiences.
● When they want to give their child a jumpstart in developing self-leadership skills.
● When they see their child making poor choices with peers.
● When there are constant struggles at home around homework, chores, and other responsibilities.
A life coach helps children learn how to manage life’s “curveballs” — whether it’s facing a big change or dealing with a major disappointment. Kids learn how to bounce back and pick themselves up so they can “go for it” in life.
Although life coaching and counseling may have similarities, such as asking the important questions, listening, and finding patterns in people's lives, they are not the same thing.
Counselling, or therapy, is the process of helping people with a mental health condition, emotional problems or a difficult life event by talking about them. Counselling often focuses on the past to help a client in the present. Coaching focuses on the future and only occasionally touches on the past to help a client learn from earlier events.
